asterphage: Nutrocker (the Maschinen Krieger movie) on bittorrent

This isn't exactly on topic, but I figured some people here might be Maschinen Krieger fans.

"S.F.3.D original video: Nutrocker"; English & German dialogue; Japanese subtitles.

This short film is based on Kow Yokoyama's "SF3D"/"Maschinen Krieger" series of design illustrations and model dioramas, originally published in articles in Hobby Japan magazine in the 80s. Tons of stop-motion animation, like the first Terminator movie.

I'll be seeding this for as long as I can, but please reseed!

Christmas eve, 2884. The battle was getting furious... and also, it was getting dark.Collapse )

Greetings fellow toy collectors,

I just wanted to plug a new website that I'm part of that is devoted to reviewing the latest japanese toys.

Its still in its infancy, so if there are any comments or thoughts, I'd love to hear them.

mopedronin: Final Fantasy Figures

Got some Final Fantasy figures from a Coca-Cola promo from a few years ago I'd like to offer up.

I am not really looking for any special price, so make me an offer. They are light, so it's likely shipping will only be a few dollars (around $3 to $4?).

14 figures, painted and "crystal", standing approximately 1.5 inches tall. Great for gaming and display.

I have PayPal.

To all and anyone interested...

This year's TGS is from Sept 16 to 18 (Friday to Sunday). It's in Chiba at the Makuhari Messe (just like in years past). Who wants to go? What day is best to go? Feel free to bring friends of course, and a assload of camera and/or video equipment. Thinking about bringing my digital video camera this year...

For TGS vrigins who are interested in coming, you can get all the information you need at the English site above, but if you need to contact anyone to confirm, feel free to contact me. I will be more than glad to help. It's a great time NOT to be missed.
